Daily Routine
Reflexive Verbs
Hola estudiantes. This week we are continuing are use of Chapter 2A: Daily Routine and Reflexive Verbs. You are learning to talk about your routine and comparing it to others.
Questions you should be able to answer: How do people's daily lives compare? How does access to water shape our daily lives? Why is water so important in different parts of the world? So far, you have practiced this by writing a response email to the exchange student Pablo who is coming to stay with your family. We have read articles and infographics about daily routines, cell phone usage, and water access. Upcoming: A grammar quiz for this unit will be on 3/13 and the test for this unit will be on Monday 3/18. Our next unit is about clothing and we will begin talking about the past tense. Due on Monday (or Tuesday, depending on class section): Song (Internacionales by Bomba Estereo).
Stem-changing quiz on Monday. Vocabulary Quiz for Chapter 1B on Wednesday. Test for Chapter 1B: Friday. We have a lot to accomplish in the next week. In class, stay on task. Take thorough notes and complete the activities. If you are not completing the assigned class activities or homeworks, your quiz and test averages will also suffer. After school tutoring is available with me on Tuesdays and with the tutoring center before and after school on Thursdays. Take advantage of it. If you can't meet, set up a lunch that you want to meet. Thank you!
